These days Disney has unveiled the release date of Alien, the film by Uruguayan director and screenwriter Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead - remake, Don't Breathe).
The new chapter of the saga will not be released on streaming on Hulu / Disney Plus as previously announced but in theaters on August 16, 2024.
Very little has been revealed about this project, apart from a recent photo from the set shared by the director on Alien Day (imamgine at the bottom of the article) and the presence, in the cast, of Cailee Spaeny (Pacific Rim - The Uprising, The Witches' Rite) announced in 2022.
There are currently no other details about the new Alien But, according to reports released in March 2022, Alien will not be a prequel or sequel and will not be connected to the other chapters of the famous fantasy-horror saga.
It would also be produced by Ridley Scott (Alien - 1979, Blade Runner, Legend) through his Scott Free.
