Secondo quanto riportato da Hollywood Reporter, il regista e sceneggiatore uruguaiano Fede Alvarez (La casa - remake, Man in the Dark) si occuperà della regia del nuovo Alien, film che sarà prodotto da Ridley Scott (Alien - 1979, Blade Runner, Legend) tramite la sua Scott Free.
The U.S. magazine also reports that Alien will come streaming (Hulu and Disney Plus) and will not be a prequel or sequel connected to the other chapters of the famous fantasy-horror saga because it is not narratively connected to them.
Currently, no details about the story have been revealed.
