A few months ago we told you about Alien: Paradise Lost (link to news story), the sequel to Prometheus previously titled Prometheus 2. Yesterday, however, it was announced that the sequel to the fantasy-horror that Ridley Scott directed in 2012 has been renamed again but this time permanently, with the title Alien: Covenant.
In fact, this was reiterated by 20th Century Fox itself, which also confirmed that the film is part of the franchise of Alien and also revealed its release date, set for Oct. 6, 2017.
As detailed in our previous article, the director has disclosed that this sequel will be followed by two more films whose story will connect to that of Alien (1979).
