After the images released by 20th Century Fox a few days ago, earlier today the teaser trailer for the fantasy-horror Alien: Covenant (USA - 2017) by Ridley Scott. Alien: Covenant is the second chapter of the prequel trilogy that began with Prometheus (2012) and which is related to Alien 1979. The film will be released in U.S. theaters on May 19, 2017, while the Italian date is set for May 11, 2017.
Plot: Crew members of the Covenant colony-ship reach a remote planet in the galaxy. The place, seemingly pristine and paradisiacal, will turn out to be very dangerous instead. Moreover, its only inhabitant is the android David (Michael Fassbender), the sole survivor of the Prometheus expedition.
The screenplay is written by Michael Green, Jack Paglen and John Logan.
The cast includes Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Danny McBride, Katherine Waterston, Jussie Smolett, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Callie Hernandez (Machete Kills), Billy Crudup, and James Franco.
