The thriller/drama Alcoholic (USA, Italy - 2016) will debut in Italian theaters on. May 18, 2017 distributed by West 46th Films. Directing the film is Italian-Argentinian Lucas Pavetto (The Perfect Husband) who co-wrote the screenplay with Massimo Vavassori.
Filmed entirely in the U.S., with an all-Italian production (Dea Film), the film boasts the presence in the cast of Bill Moseley (The House of 1,000 Bodies, The House of the Devil).
Alcoholic (aka Alcoholist) is the story of Daniel (Bret Roberts), an alcoholic whose sole purpose is to kill his neighbor (Bill Moseley). Claire (Gabriella Wright), a worker at an Alcoholics Anonymous center, will try to pull him out of the tunnel of alcoholism, but Daniel, who already manifests the damage caused by alcohol abuse, does not seem to be able to cope with withdrawal.
