The DVD (CG Entertainment labeled) packed with extras of the thriller-drama arrives on home video on Feb. 6. Alcoholic (USA, Italy - 2016). Directing the film is Italian-Argentinian Lucas Pavetto (The Perfect Husband), who also wrote the screenplay together with Massimo Vavassori.
Filmed entirely in the U.S., with an all-Italian production (Dea Film), the film boasts the presence in the cast of Bill Moseley (The House of 1,000 Bodies, The House of the Devil).
Alcoholic (aka Alcoholist) is the story of Daniel (Bret Roberts), an alcoholic who is obsessed with his neighbor (Bill Moseley). Claire (Gabriella Wright), a worker at an AA center, will try to pull him out of the tunnel of alcoholism, but the young man, who already manifests the damage caused by alcohol abuse, does not seem to be able to cope with withdrawal.
