Alamet-i Kiyamet comes as a powerful new horror film thick with symbolism, written and directed by Turkish director Doğa Can Anafarta (Mihrez: Cin Padisahi). The film will be released in Turkey starting next May 20.
Abstract: 1999 is the year that shook the history of Istanbul. Events such as drought, earthquakes and solar eclipse with satanic rituals are actually signs of an impending apocalypse. Meanwhile, young Elif, unaware of the nefarious events that are about to occur, is haunted and tormented by strange and terrifying visions.
Büşra Çubukçuoğlu, Funda Ersin, Murat Onuk, Doğuş Gün Demir, Sedat Savtak, Müge Esmeray, Belgi Saygı and Enis Zeytinler are part of the cast.
