Adoration: release date for the new film by Fabrice Du Welz

Altered Innocense has acquired distribution rights to the thriller Adoration (Belgium, France - 2019), the new film by Fabrice du Welz (Vinyan, Alléluia), the director of the disturbing Calvaire (2004).
The film will be released in the US this summer.
The story of Adoration sheds light on the sick and destructive love affair between two teenagers who, together, venture on a dangerous journey.

Plot: Twelve-year-old Paul (Thomas Gioria) lives with his mother, who works in a psychiatric hospital located in the woods, right near their home. One day the boy meets Gloria (Fantine Harduin), a new and mysterious patient, his own age, with whom he immediately becomes infatuated. A deep friendship develops between the two, and Gloria convinces him to help her escape. The two will embark on a dangerous journey that will test the boy's feelings as Gloria begins to become unmanageable.

In the cast of Adoration feature Thomas Gioria, Fantine Harduin, Benoît Poelvoorde, Laurent Lucas (Calvaire, Alléluia), Gwendolyn Gourvenec, Anaël Snoek (Cannibal) and Pierre Nisse (Laissez bronzer les cadavres).
