Universal Pictures has released the second official Italian trailer for Abigail, the vampire movie by Radio Silence (Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett), the directors of the episode "10/31/98" in the horror anthology V/H/S, Devil's Due and Ready or Not. Played by the young Irish actress Alisha Weir (Matilda the Musical), Abigail will debut in Italian theaters on May 16, while is set to released in US theaters on April 19.
Plot: to collect a $50 million ransom, a gang of criminals kidnap Abigail, a 12-year-old ballerina. All they have to do is watch the girl overnight in an isolated mansion for only one night, just long enough to collect the ransom money. However, plans will not go as planned when the little girl reveals her true nature...
Giancarlo Esposito, Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, William Catlett, Kevin Durand and Angus Cloud (Euphoria) are in the cast. The screenplay is written by Guy Busick (Ready or Not, Scream) and Stephen Shields (The Hole in The Ground).
