Abattoir (USA - 2016), the new horror film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV, Mother's Day), will be available starting December 9 (both for VOD and in theaters) thanks to Momentum Pictures. We attach the new poster and synopsis to the article.
Storyline. Julia Talbenun (Jessica Lowndes) is a journalist. real estate developer who comes across an urban legend: for years someone has done nothing but buy houses where terrible tragedies have occurred. What prompts her to investigate is precisely the murder of her family and the mysterious removal of the room where the crime occurred. The search will lead her to visit the Abattoir, a huge house composed of rooms marked by death.
The screenplay of Abattoir Is by Christopher Monfette. The cast includes Jessica Lowndes, Joe Anderson, Dayton Callie, Lin Shaye (Insidious, Ouija), John McConnell, Michael Paré, Bryan Batt, J. LaRose, Jackie Tuttle, Jay Huguley, Aiden Flowers, and Carol Sutton.
Based on Bousman's own comic book miniseries, Abattoir is produced by Jesse Berger (Oblivion) and Brent C. Johnson of Dark Web Productions. Billy Hines is the co-producer.
