Holy Hell (2014), whose red band trailer has been available for a few days, is the title of the Canadian horror film written and directed by newcomer Ryan LaPLante. The film's protagonist is the director himself, who plays Augustus Bane, a devout priest who unfortunately is attacked by a gang of criminals. Saved by a miracle, the priest wields a revolver and sets out on the trail of the sinners to eliminate them one by one. The film has been described as outrageous, deviant, loaded with nudity and (inviting) splatter sequences.
In addition to Ryan LaPLante, the cast includes Michael Rawley, Shane Patrick McClurg, Alysa King, Reece Presley, Rachel Little, and Luke LaPlante. Production was handled by the director along with Michael Rawley.
Sound Designer George Flores (Antisocial, Septic Man, The Collapsed), composer Adrian Ellis (The Scarehouse, HAPHEAD, Out With Dad) and Scream Queen Alysa King are involved in the project.
Holy Hell is currently in post production.
