Unveiled a chilling new trailer of Don't Knock Twice (Regno Unito - 2017), l’horror sovrannaturale che ha esordito nei cinema statunitensi lo scorso 3 febbraio e che invece debutterà in Canada proprio oggi. La sceneggiatura è co-scritta da Mark Huckerby e Nick Ostler, gli sceneggiatori del film sulla licantropia Howl (2015) while the direction is by Caradog W. James (The Machine). Don't Knock Twice deals with the urban legend of a house inhabited by a vengeful witch.
Plot: According to one legend, anyone who knocks once on the door of the sinister mansion (in which a witch is said to be hiding) will awaken the hag, who will rise from the dead if you knock twice instead.
This is what Chloe (Lucy Boynton), a teenager who will playfully knock on the door of the gloomy house and then return to her drug-addicted mother in rehab (Kate Scakhoff), heedless of the consequences, will do. The diabolical creature thus awakened will not be long in manifesting itself, tormenting and terrorizing the girl.
The cast includes: Katee Sackhoff (Oculus - The Reflection of Evil, The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia), Lucy Boynton, Nick Moran, Jordan Bolger, Javier Botet (The Mother, REC, The Conjuring - The Enfield Case), Pooneh Hajimohammadi, Richard Mylan, and Callum Griffiths.
