Second trailer in circulation for The Suffering, the independent horror film directed by American Rob Hamilton (The Key, 2012) who co-wrote the screenplay with Marco V. Scola.
The film centers on the story of Henry Dawles (Nick Apostolides), a real estate appraiser who goes mad after accepting an assignment from Mr. Remiel (Phil Amico). Henry must fight for his mental and physical health when, upon reaching the designated location, he becomes trapped in an isolated house apparently inhabited only by a mysterious janitor. During the evaluation of the property in fact Henry will realize that he has ended up in a dark and sinister place.
The film is currently in post-production, and the crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter has just finished reaching the remarkable goal of more than $8,000 out of a goal of $5,000. Participants were reciprocated with thanks, gadgets, DVDs, Blu-Rays and more.
The cast includes Nick Apostolides, Regen Wilson, Elizabeth Deo, Phil Amico, Lee Hamilton, Chad Eric Smith, Carl Stevens, and Liz Christmas.
