New poster for Nymph (Mamula) published a few days ago on BloodyDisgusting and which you can admire down at the end of the article.
The protagonist in the poster is the sensual and dangerous mermaid woman in the film directed by Milan Todorovic, a Serbian director who has behind him Zone of the Dead headed in tandem with Milan Konjevic.
A few months ago Milan kindly gave us an English-language interview (soon to be available in Italian) on Mamula.
In Nymph two friends reach the shores of the Mediterranean to spend a carefree and fun vacation. Here, however, they will be spectators to horrific human debacles enacted by a ruthless mermaid who takes refuge in an ancient abandoned fort.
The screenplay of Nymph Is edited by Marko Backovic and Barry Keating. The effects designer is Miroslav Lakobrija (the effects supervisor in the shocking A Serbian Film). The film stars Kristina Klebe (Halloween The Beginning, Breadcrumbs, and The Advocate) flanked by the great Franco Nero (an actor for whom Todorovic is extremely enthusiastic). These two prominent names are joined by those of Natalie Burn, Dragan Micanovic, Slobodan Stefanovic, and Sofija Rajovic. The beautiful mermaid is played by Serbian model Zorana Kostic Obradovic, here making her film debut as an actress.
Produced and distributed by Epic Pictures, Milan Todorovic's new film is expected to see the light of day by the end of the year.
Meanwhile, it was selected in several festivals around the world (Fantaspoa, Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival...).
