Gravitas Ventures has released the poster and official trailer for. The Arbors, the horror film written and directed by Clayton Witmer, here directing his first feature film.
The film will be available for VOD starting March 26.
Played by Drew Matthews, The Arbors is the story of a strange bond between a human being and a monstrous eight-legged creature.
Plot: Ethan Daunes is a lonely blacksmith trying to have a good relationship with Shane (Ryan Davenport), his younger brother. His life will take a disturbing turn after he finds a small spider-like creature with which he will establish a sick and troubling bond.
After a series of unexplained murders, the creature's true nature will soon be revealed and Ethan will end up in a whirlwind of panic and paranoia.
The cast of The Arbors consists of Drew Matthews, Ryan Davenport, Langston McAdoo, Mark Hayes, Phillip Lynch, Brooks Addis, Kathryn Alexander, Morgan Carson, Sarah Cochrane, and Olivia Griffin.
The screenplay, on the other hand, is by Clayton Witmer and Chelsey Cummings.
