Last July we told you about Krampus, a horror comedy in which Christmas devils besiege the home of a child who has lost, along with his parents, the spirit of the holiday.
A Krampus another movie featuring Christmas devils is added, this time an anthology consisting of three episodes and titled A Christmas Horror Story. RLJ Entertainment by the way has just released the official trailer and will release the film on October 2, a date set for U.S. theaters and video on demand.
The stories of the three episodes are intertwined and focus on some residents of the small town of Bailey Downs for whom Christmas will turn tragic when the Krampus, awakened by a child, mess up Santa's plans and bring horror and havoc to the small town.
The three segments are directed by Steven Hoban (the producer of Splice, Black Christmas - A Blood Red Christmas and Lycanthropy), Grant Harvey (Lycanthropy) and Brett Sullivan (The Chair), respectively. The screenwriters are James Kee, Sarah Larsen, Doug Taylor, and Pascal Trottier.
The cast includes William Shatner George Buza, Percy Hynes White, Rob Archer, Jeff Clarke, Jessica Clement, Amy Forsyth, Robert Coughler, Zoé De Grand, and Maison.
