Online the teaser poster of 6 Songs, the next anthology film produced by Domiziano Cristopharo, an independent Italian director known for his horror films (Red Krokodil, Nightmare Symphony) and also extreme (Xpiation, TetroManiac: eROTik).
If the director announced his retirement from the indie scene a year ago, ending his mysterious work in super-8 film, now also comes news of a latest collective project, in which Cristopharo himself has been involved with other colleagues for several months.
According to what the director revealed, 6 Songs is an episodic horror film with a high blood content, a film that does not belong to the extreme strand and deals with an unusual theme: music.
More precisely: "Music has a powerful ability to influence the story and create an unforgettable atmosphere in horror films. Soundtracks represent moods and emotionally engage the viewer, but what happens when a song is the star of a horror story? In 6 Songs each director involved will explore, in his or her own segment, his or her personal vision of this original aspect“.
Directors involved, in addition to the aforementioned director, include Corey DeAn Cowley (XXX DARK NET: Red Lips), Joseph Russio (Beyond Dark Dreams), Irene Jones Baruffetti (Vore/Gore), Slade Wilson (XXX DARK NET: Red Lips) and Pete Lankston (King James Bible).
Recall that Domiziano Cristopharo has already participated in several anthology films including. A Taste of Phobia, Vore Gore and P.O.E., the saga dedicated to the short stories of Edgar Allan Poe.
