New info is circulating on 31, the new film written and directed by Rob Zombie (The house of a thousand bodies, The House of the Devil, Halloween, The Witches of Salem). Just in these hours, the director himself released the official teaser poster of the film (below right). In addition, the date regarding the release of the official trailer has been announced, which will take place on Tuesday, June 14.
Holding the rights for the North American distribution of 31 is Saban Films. Bow and Arrow Entertainment, on the other hand, financed and co-produced it together with Spectacle Entertainment Group.
31, whose release date is set for Sept. 16, 2016, has been labeled by Zombie himself as a "sick" product made to satisfy the most discerning horrorphiles.
Plot: On Oct. 30, five people are kidnapped for no apparent reason and locked up in a gloomy and sinister place known as "Murder World." Here the hostages will have twelve hours during which they must survive a terrifying game called "31" and in which the attackers ready to kill them are The Heads, psychopaths masquerading as clowns.
In the cast of 31, in addition to the director's ever-present wife, Sheri Moon Zombie, also Malcolm McDowell, Meg Foster, Judy Geeson, Richard Brake, Ginger Lynn, Daniel Roebuck, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Jane Carr, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Tracy Walter, E.G. Daily, Torsten Voges, Pancho Moler, Bari Suzuki, and Devin Sidell.
