Earlier today, Saban Films announced that it will handle the distribution of 31 in theaters in the United States, which is set for September 16, 2016. Funded through crowdfunding and world premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last January, 31 is the highly anticipated new film written and directed by Rob Zombie (The house of a thousand bodies, The House of the Devil, The Witches of Salem).
31 is the name of the game in which the protagonists will find themselves involved against their will on Halloween night itself.
Abstract: On October 30, five people are kidnapped and locked up in "Murder World," a gloomy and sinister place. The hostages are given twelve hours during which they must try to survive a terrifying game called "31." The five victims will in fact be the prey of psychopathic killers masquerading as clowns (The Heads) who will try to kill them.
