Sony Pictures Italia has shared the official Italian trailer for the post-apocalyptic horror film 28 Years Later, the sequel to 28 Days Later (2002) e 28 Weeks Later (2007).
The film is directed by Danny Boyle, on a screenplay he co-wrote with Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Annihilation), with whom he is expected to kick off a new trilogy of which the first two chapters have already been filmed.
28 Years Later will be released in Italian theaters on June 19, 2025.
Trama: sono passati 28 anni dalla comparsa del virus della rabbia, un'arma biologica che ha costretto l'umanità a vivere in quarantena per evitare la terribile infezione. Un gruppo di sopravvissuti vive su una piccola isola collegata alla terraferma da un'unica strada rialzata. La loro sicurezza viene messa a rischio quando un membro decide di avventurarsi nel continente, in una missione che svelerà nuovi orrori che hanno mutato non solo gli infetti ma anche altri sopravvissuti.
In the cast of 28 Years Later figurano Jack O'Connell, Jodie Comer (Alone in the Dark), Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Alfie Williams e Ralph Fiennes (The Menu).
