28 years later: trailer, poster and release date for Danny Boyle's post-apocalyptic horror film

Sony Pictures Italia has shared the official Italian trailer for the post-apocalyptic horror film 28 Years Later, the sequel to 28 Days Later (2002) e 28 Weeks Later (2007).
The film is directed by Danny Boyle, on a screenplay he co-wrote with Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Annihilation), with whom he is expected to kick off a new trilogy of which the first two chapters have already been filmed.
28 Years Later will be released in Italian theaters on June 19, 2025.

Plot: It has been 28 years since the emergence of the rage virus, a biological weapon that has forced humanity to live in quarantine to avoid the terrible infection. A group of survivors live on a small island connected to the mainland by a single causeway. Their safety is put at risk when one member Leaves the island on a mission that will unveil new horrors that have mutated not only the infected but also other survivors as well.

In the cast of 28 Years Later feature Jack O'Connell, Jodie Comer (Alone in the Dark), Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Alfie Williams and Ralph Fiennes (The Menu).
