Here are some images from the set of the post-apocalyptic horror film 28 Years Later, the sequel to 28 days later (2002) and 28 Weeks Later (2007).
Directed by Danny Boyle, on a script he co-wrote with Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Annihilation), 28 Years Later is the first chapter of a trilogy sequel to 28 Days Later and will be released in U.S. theaters on June 20, 2025.
In 28 Years Later, the Irish actor Cillian Murphy will reprise the role that made him famous in 28 days later and will be joined, in the cast, by Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes, and Jack O'Connell.
Nia DaCosta (Little Woods, Candyman - 2021) is in talks to direct the second installment of the saga while Alex Garland will handle the screenplay for all the three films.
28 Years Later is produced by Columbia Pictures in collaboration with DNA Films and Decibel Films.
