XYZ Films ha diffuso, online, il poster e il trailer di Ghosts of the Ozarks (USA – 2021), horror western che vede alla regia Matt Glass e Jordan Wayne Long, i registi della commedia thriller Squirrel. Il film arriverà nelle sale USA e on demand il 3 febbraio 2022.
Ghosts of the Ozarks è interpretato da Thomas Hobson (12 Hour Shift), David Arquette (Scream), Phil Morris e Angela Bettis (May). Nel cast ci sono anche Tim Blake Nelson (L’incredibile Hulk), Joseph Ruud e Tara Perry. La sceneggiatura invece è a firma di Jordan Wayne Long, Tara Perry e Sean Anthony Davis.
Trama: nell’Arkansas del dopoguerra, un giovane dottore viene convocato in una remota cittadina situata negli Ozarks. Una volta giunto sul posto, l’uomo scoprirà che quel paradiso utopico è pieno di segreti ed è dominato da una minacciosa presenza soprannaturale.
